Contributed to the studio-wide rebrand and transition to Francis-Jones Carpenter Studio, formerly Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp, assisting the Communications Manager to refresh and standardise more than 150 studio templates and collateral items across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the UK.
My contribution focused on elevating the visual presentation of the studio’s documentation, refining layouts, typographic hierarchy, grid systems and image selection to strengthen brand consistency across presentations, bid documents, capability statements, stationery, schedules, forms and report templates. This included updating document structures, refining the presentation of information, developing consistent graphics / icons for training guides like ergonomics and reformatting forms and information editing, and developing consistent layouts for full-length and pen-portrait CVs, ensuring a cohesive visual identity across the studio’s communications.
Alongside the design and implementation of the refreshed collateral, I worked with the Design Director and Managing Principal to shape the communication of the studio’s name change and evolving identity. This included developing messaging for social media and public announcements, articulating the studio’s continued commitment to design excellence, sustainability, reconciliation, diversity and inclusion, and the enhancement of the public domain.
The project brought together visual communication and strategic messaging to ensure the rebrand was reflected consistently across both the studio’s internal resources and its public-facing identity.
